About Us

Pickleball Central is a U.S.-focused pickleball retailer built around a simple idea: choosing the right equipment should make playing the game more enjoyable. The business began in 2006 and has grown from a small side project into a major online destination for pickleball players, offering equipment and resources for beginners, recreational players and competitive athletes.

Our selection covers the essential parts of the game, including pickleball paddles, balls, shoes, portable nets, apparel, bags, grips, accessories, training equipment and pickleball machines. Rather than treating gear as one-size-fits-all, Pickleball Central provides paddle guides, product-selection tools and expert content to help players compare weight, grip, materials, playing characteristics and other important factors.

Pickleball Central also puts education and real-world testing at the center of its approach. Its Lab analyzes paddle characteristics and performance data, while its Learning Center provides guides covering equipment, technique, courts and different aspects of the sport. This combination of product expertise and educational resources makes the shopping experience more useful for players who want to understand their gear before making a decision.

From selecting a first paddle to refining a competitive setup, the goal is to help players find equipment that fits their playing style and continue enjoying pickleball for years to come.
